About this project
About the Ted Neitzke Public Record
This is an independent accountability and fact-check record focused on official conduct and public affairs.
Selection standard
An entry is published only when two distinct sides can be checked: an exact Ted Neitzke statement from a primary source, and a distinct primary-source record that contradicts or materially qualifies the statement. Unsupported leads, indirect paraphrases, duplicate events, and items without a same-scope record are excluded.
Source hierarchy
City releases, meeting records, signed agreements, agency filings, official votes, and other first-party public records are preferred. Reputable reporting is considered when it contains a direct quotation and its role is clearly identified. Each cited source has a live link and an archived copy.
What the labels mean
- Contradicted by the record: a distinct record conflicts with the statement.
- Misleading / missing context: the statement omits a condition essential to understanding it.
- Reversed position: a later documented position materially differs.
- Promise vs outcome: a documented result materially differs from the stated result.
Review and limitations
Every included pair is reviewed for exact wording, date, source identity, context, material scope, and a neutral conclusion. The current research cutoff is October 10, 2026. 8 entries met the publication standard at that cutoff; the count is never padded. Public records can be incomplete, removed, or superseded, and a label describes only the cited comparison—not motive or private conduct.
Updates and corrections
This is a living record, but new material is not added without source review. When a supported correction changes an entry, the public corrections log identifies the date, affected entry, changed text, and reason. The entry and site update dates change with the reviewed revision. A materially doubtful passage is held for renewed review rather than silently changed.
